Why learn English?

everything is based on English. Firstly English is the international language and knowing English shows the eruditeness of people, because every person who considers him or herself to be educated has learnt it. English has switched places with Latin, which once was the language of educated people. Not to mention the fact that people can use it for communication with eachother. In my opinion it is not necessary to learn that country's mother tongue while most of the people are able to talk in English. I find that English connects different people and helps us to feel like a big multicultural family. In addition to that it is a whole lot easier to find a job abroad, if you are fluent in English, because they are looking for workers who are able to talk with no language barrier and it shows that you are open to different challenges.

Learn From Mistakes, Improve Your Intelligence

Learn From Mistakes, Improve Your Intelligence We are humans. In society it's perfectly acceptable that in one way or another we've failed and will fiddle up again. Everyone does, but we, the people must let go of the past and seek for a better future, to learn, to differ the wrong form the right. Now why do we bollocks up in the first place? The answer lies in you, yourself have to find out why did you fail and what can be learned from it. Frequent failing can cause sadness, depression and lack of motivation but it's not the way to go if you want to succeed in life and become a better you. It's better to understand your mistakes and learn from them to expand your knowledge rather to get everything right and stay on elementary level of problem solving

Why do we learn the English language?

Why we learn the english language? It is necessary to learn foreign languages. That´s why the pupils have such subjects as a foreign language at school. Conventional medicine has little to learn from alternative medicine

as headaches, then a doctor would probably write out pain killers. Not much help in the long term. Alternative medicine is also the last chance, when having an untreatable condition, like cancer. Conventional medicine seeks to solve problems by masking or eliminating symptoms, which is not always the best solution, because it does not reveal the real cause of the pain. In conclusion, conventional medicine has a lot to learn from alternative medicine. It is also very important to use the right treatment, in more serious cases conventional one. Alternative medicine is not very faithworthy.

Do young people today learn enough at school to face the world tomorrow

Do young people today learn enough at school to face the world tomorrow? People name school the school of life. But may they affirm that? On the one hand, school period is time of growing up and forming of a human`s personality. A child gets know how to get on with people, how to communicate and makes his or her mind up about many questions with help of classmates and teachers. On the other hand, it depends on school. Tutors of some schools focus only on education. They don`t care of the discipline and pupils` behaviour at all. Probably such school-leavers have only several opportunities for the future to become criminals, join local gangs or to control themselves and to do their best in studies. Such schools may be really named the schools of life because children studying there are forced to grow up earlier than others. Furthermore, present youngsters spend a great deal of their spare time sitting in Internet. They communicate, s...

Those things help to ensure that you will do your job properly and increase efficiency. But it is not viable always. Because very often you don't have the opportunity to choose your job. As very often you take the job you get, as you need money for your family. Above all you need is a job that interests you. If you can choose, of course pick the job that interests you. But sometimes we don't have that luxury and take the job we get. Why do so many people want to learn in English? Why do so many people want to learn in English? Why is it so? What do people hope to gain from learning in English? Many of the world's leading universities are in English speaking countries. This means you would get good education and you learn English as well, because you would live in an English speaking environment. Also the qualification from these universities is acknowledged all over the world.

Summary - IT in motorsport

Summary I made my presentation about infotechnology usage in motorsport. I chose this topic because I am an infotechnology student and also I have been rally driver since 2009. I believed this could be interesting topic for others to hear because you can’t really find much information about the technologies used in different motorsport disciplines from the Internet but you can learn about them usually when somebody tells you about those technologies. Because I’m a rally driver and I know most about rallying I focused on rally and in addition talked little bit about Formula One and also about simulators. Most of the information I used to make this presentation was based on my personal experience. In addition, I found some interesting technologies which are used in Formula One from the Internet. Most interesting hi-tech solutions used in rally are in my opinion ride height control with GPS and launch...

Why people go to school?

Why people go to school? In one's opinion is this question easy to answer. Who goes there to learn who goes to make fun ( to amuse ) and who goes there forcibly at all. Another can not answer it. I think that there is more than one answer to this question.. For example, I go to school to learn. Learning is the basis of life and even wise people have said that human being learns the whole life.. but he still dies as fool." I'm not going only to learn at school ... At any time you should learn something new and interesting. The school and education plays a major role in our lives, because the more you will learn and the more you achieve, the more choices are available. School shouldn't be a place where someone has bad to be. In my mind there have to be sufficient funny and interesting at school, and there's to be something that distract the students. Anyone's motivation shouldn't disappear ( being motivated ). If there

Home Schooling

abiks.pri.ee There is big different between home school and state school. The way how there are taught is different too. There are arguments both for an advantage and disadvantage. Firstly in home school parents have the freedom to decide what to teach. Furthermore they have the freedom to decide how to teach. Secondly parents can teach their children more than just facts and when children learning what interests them, it motivates them to learn even more. But on the other hand home schooling isn't the best way. In state schools are more children and they can speak between each other and it is helping in future. Moreover children learn how to judgement with others. In state schools child can do teamwork and it is very usefull. To sum up there are some good things and bad things in home schooling. But it seems to me that state school is better way, because when you grow up in society it is easier to move on.

There should be no compulsory school subjects

There should be no compulsory school subjects. Students should be allowed to choose subjects they want to study. In school students do not want to learn some subjects, still they have to do it. Some lessons may not like for pupils. For example, students have to learn foreign languages, be in a choir or do psychical educaion even if they do not like it at all. However, should there be compulsory subjects or should there be not? On the one hand, students do not work hard if they are not interested in the subject. Then they just waste their time doing nothing important. Also, if there are the subjects the student wants then there is no more undone homework, distracting or undiscipline. Furthermore, there are many

Learning foreign language - Why is it necessary?

Learning foreign language - Why is it necessary? I think learning different languages are very important if you want to see world and people abroad. It makes your life easier if you can learn some larger language than Estonian. Estonian is very little language and example is quite hard to get god job if you cannot speak some world language. This is very positive that we can learn at least two foreign language in the school. Very important is than we get practice beside school lessons. Some things like watching films and listening music make us understand this language better. In the future I would like to learn french and Swedish but first I should learn to speak Russian and English correctly. If we travel, we anyway communicate with different people and it's easier to make contact than we can speak language very well. And communicating with

Study the past, if you would divine the future

"Study the past, if you would divine the future" All people experience different things through out life. We all make mistakes and have our ups and downs. That's the part of living. Having a great life is possible when you are not afraid of making mistakes. The more mistakes you make in the past, the less mistakes you will make in the future. You can easily divine your future when you study things from your past and mistakes. On the other hand, you can't always learn from your past. When your past is full of boringness and dullness, then there isn't much to learn. And also, it is not always good to learn from the past. Because sometimes you look back on your past and make te same mistakes because you don't know what was right and what was wrong. In conclusion, learning from the past can be very good and divining. It depends on person's past and the ability of learning from the past because some people will make the same mistakes all over again.

Why languages essee

Why Languages? Languages are very important nowadays. There are more than seven thousand languages in the world. Some of the languages are more widely spread than others like English, German and Mandarin language. It is important to learn languages because people travel a lot and then the communication is easier. In the world there are so many languages and it is impossible that we could speak them all. That's why there are some dominant languages. I think one of the most spoken languages is English, because so many people in the world can speak it. Some foreign languages are taught in very young age children. For example in Estonian children learn in school German, Russian and English. Main is English.

The aim of this report is to compare hobbies of Estonian and Russian young people in Tallinn.

19.1% of the Russians said that dancing is a part of their lives. So I can say it again: the young Estonians do not have as active lifestyle as Russians do. The third hobby I am going to compare is learning languages. According to the diagram the second most popular hobby is learning languages. I have seen a lot of Russians in Lasnamäe and in Põhja-Tallinn speaking non of Estonian and receive an impression about that the Russians do not learn languages. But according to the diagram what shows us that 31% Russians learn languages against Estonians whose percentage is 19,6%. And the comprehension about that the Russians learn less languages than Estonians is wrong. The last hobby is folk music. For my surprise, the young Estonian and Russian people both like folk. Some of them are in folk groups. 9.1% of youngsters from both nationalities love it. But 9.1% is not a big percentage. There are many hobbies that are more popular.

Would you rather go to a large or a small school. I prefer large school. In a large school there are many opportunities to learn. First I would say that the big school is located in city. This is important to me. When I live in city i have to choose many number of schools. I have to do much more than go home and school. I have more time and i can go in many hobby groups. Secondly I would say that I do not like that teachers have less time. Teachers have little time to deal with people individually. Studying abroad

world, some of us look jobs abroad, but someones go to educate themselves. Studying abroad is becoming more and more popular in young people. But why is that so? Studying and living abroad puts one young person to very difficult situation, he or she has to become independent. You do not have your parents right next to you, you have to handle everyday -life yourself. Maybe the beginning itself is hard, but it is definately useful. You learn to live life on your own. One of the disadvantages is language barrier, especially when you are going to country, where the English is not a spoken language. So the previous work with that new language is vital. Also when you are in that atmosphere you learn new language very quickly. And here comes advatage from disadvatage you learn to communicate in totally new language. But the most harder aspect in my opinion of studying abroad is that you cannot look away from homesickness

Stress is a natural part of people

In particular young people are more often a subject to stress. I want to talk about the stress that young people have. In general there are two types of stress: negative stress and positive stress. First type is the positive stress. It is very important in our life. Positive stress gives you the energy to throw yourself into something what you want to do very well. For example, approximation for exams. In this situation a student begins to learn diligently all materials that he didn’t learn before. On the other hand, we have negative stress too. This type of makes people nervous and they can’t be positive. Nowadays we have a lot of sources of stress. For instance: problems at school, quarrels with friend or other people, emotional problems. In the same way, changes that occur with the body are a big cause of stress too. However in our life we have a lot of ways to get rid of stress. For example, most popular is having a conversation with another person, who understands you.

What can be done to prevent petty crime?

What can be done to prevent petty crime? Nowadays more and more young people have started comit petty crime and people believe that thouse can be prevented. I support this view for a variety of reasons. To start with petty crime can be prevented with teenagers, the problematical ones in particular should participate to educational courses organised by the state where they can learn everything about these petty crimes an also how to avoid getting in the middle of them. It is very important to organise this meetings in the poor districts where teenagers are prone to ilicit activities such as pickpocketing or even burglery. Another method of reducing petty crime is that the people should learn how to protect their houses and their valuable goods. They should also learn how to protect themselves by thieves in order to not become victims of this criminal activity

What is more, people often spend more time with their virtual friends chatting rather than dedicating time to the people that truly care about them. A final key argument relates to people turning lasier, with internet people will go less outside to make real friends that they can learn to know and can examine their behaviour. Even so virtual world has its benefits. One of the biggest is that you are able to meet a lot of more people than you can in real life. It also gives us a better opportunity to learn from other cultures. In fact many teenagers learn a lot from foreign friends whom they have met through the internet. However, it definitely has a negative sides. On the one hand, studying abroad is new experience and motivating, but on the other hand it can be distracting. Firstly, studying abroad give to people more experience and philosophy of life. Compared to the situation one hundred years ago, studying abroad is broadly spread all over the world. Moreover, travel is easier and convenient. In addition, studying abroad has become more and more popular. In my opinion it is the most useful way to learn a new language and you have advantage to be independent. In addition, you got new friends and habits. All of this is new and interesting. Secondly, studying abroad give you more practice. You need it for communication and understanding. You can practice your language, also you can learn different cultures of countries. Internet also has a great value for schools, because learning by using the Internet has many advantages on other ways of learning. But what makes Internet so good to be used for learning? Internet is constantly evolving, making it the most reliable and up-to-date source of information. Books are getting older and the information is expiring, but the Internet is evolving with time. In the Internet, expired information is replaced with new. It is easier to find what you need to learn. For example, using books or other data carriers on paper, you are forced just to read, read and read. Using the Internet, you can find whatever you need to learn in just a matter of seconds just by searching through the net. Tolerance and diversity First of all I had to pose myself a question what does tolerance mean to me? I came to the conclusion that for me it means accepting people the way they are- not caring about their appearance, orign, religion, attitude or skin coulor, even if their beliefs and thoughts are not just the same as mine. I think that every one of us should pay respect to other people. I find it interesting to learn about other cultures and how they live. Estonia is a culturally diverse society. It is home to approximately 1,4 million people and not all of them are Estonians. Beside us consider Estonia as their home: Russians, Ukranians, Belorussian, Jews, Tatars, Germans and Poles - among of many others. They all have chosen to live here and they want to be taken as a part of our nationality. They want to be accepted and esposed. I can't understand people who can't be tolerate

Having things like money and others against you, should not keep you from doing what you want. I simply hope that everyone can learn about anything they want. classicalmusicmagazine.org

Should class attendance be mandatory for university students?

For instance, the lack of motivation is quite a frequent occurrence among university students. This means that even though the chosen specialty might be agreeable to them, some still play truant. Mandatory classes create discipline and perhaps help the students that are in lack of stimulus to stay on track with schoolwork. It can be argued, however, that university students should be mature enough to keep their own heads above water and learn to oblige themselves to attend classes when necessary. What is more, some students are often ahead of others in certain subjects or sometimes learn better by themselves, so compulsory classes would be an inconvenience for them. What good does a student who doesn’t even want to be in a lecture do? Besides, even students in university, not to mention secondary school, who find a class boring or unsolicited, can be extremely distracting to their peers who are indeed looking to educate themselves

English is the only foreign language worth learning

important, we can communicate with other people around the world. But is English the only foreign language worth learning? English is one of the most important languages in the world. It helps us to communicate with other people. If you know English then you have a better chance to get the work you want. You have a better chance to work and make a career. When you go to traveling, then English is the best language to speak. You can speak English almost everywhere you go. People should learn some other languages too. In some countries people don’t speak English, they have their own mother language, so they don’t speak other languages inluded English. For example if you live in Estonia you should know well Russian. I think that in Estonia, Russian is more important than English. I think that people should learn other languages beside English too. English is important but it is not the only language worth learning.

Life in future

glass cities, where to live. Water won't be drinkable and people will buy all needful water from shops, actually not from shops but from the internet, because there won't be shops anymore. Food nearly won't exist anymore; energy will come in tablet form. Transport will be a lot comfortable and faster. Cars will be soundless and all vehicles will whir ten times faster. You will think nothing of taking a holiday in outer space. Students will learn from TV, recorders and teaching machines. They will get pills to make them learn faster. We shall be healthier, too. There will be no common colds, cancer, tooth decay or mental illness. But this will be artificial and impermanent. People will be lazier because they won't have to do any work and life will be extremely comfortable but boring. It looks that if everything will be so easy, people will probably die simply from boredom.

Reisimise essee

"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." Saint Augustine of Hippo Travelling is very important in my life. By travelling I can learn other cultures and discover many extraordinary places. It does not matter how far I go I will always learn something new on my way. There are so many different countries and thousands of languages on planet Earth. Every nation has its own culture, which differs from others. When I have been to some exotic country I can understand the people better because I have seen their culture. Learning different cultures makes everything easier to understand. People who do not travel are missing most of the book, their mind is not so opened and they are unimaginative

Internet has many uses in my life

It's more convenient to carry around rather than a computer. At home i prefer my computer it makes studying alot easier as I can type words much faster than with a smartphone or a pen. It's also bigger so it's nice to watch movies with as well. I use my computer a lot less than my phone maybe 2 or three hours a day, whereas I use my phone at all times. - , , , . . , . - , , . , . , - , 2 3 , . At school you learn different subjects every day. Subjects that teach you about different sciences, physical education, art and languages. Science teaching subjects are mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology and geography. Math teaches you how to multiply for example. Chemistry teaches about molecules, physics about gravity, geography about planet Earth and biology about living organisms. Physical education helps you learn how to train your body. Art consists of subjects like music and art

If i were the minister of Estonia

create new laws. If I were minister of education I would deffenetly prefere American educational system to Russian. Because our new generation of children use English a lot more than Russian. In addition I would give more money to renovate our schools and raise also teatchers salary and students scholarship. This would boost up their motivation to give quality education to our children. Also i would invite more exchange students into our schools and send our children more often to learn in foreign countrys. Finally, as far as I know from year to year decrease in the number of high school graduates. And this is a great loss for our education. Because we need more and more people to teach at the University of engineers and IT professionals. In conclusion, educational needs of our increasingly well-educated people. This is our future. High School education should be more valued. But most students are going to learn a vocational school. But all this can be changed.

How terrorism has changed the world

Terrorism in the Internet has also decreased, whereas computer specialists develop better hardwares to avoid crimes in electronically. Furthermore people are more aware of the jeopardies in the Internet. Terrorism in religious countries is fairly nonsense. War between the two different beliefs will probably never end. Apart from the religious views, remaining world knows how to form its attitude. Media gives us a good overview from the activities and that is the way people learn about the evilness and know how to handle it. To summarise I would say that people are more aware and know the traps of life. Nevertheless we all fall for these things, although that's the way people learn. In my opinion terrorism has had a positive influence in world history.

Teenagers

And now some more specifics about teenage girls. There are all kind of teenage girls. Well, for exempel the ones who think that being a teenage girl is all about boys, drugs and alcohol, then there are ofcourse those sissy girls and neards, plus there are the ones who live THE most boring life, by the school, home, school, home routine. I think I’m kind of a mix al of them exept the neards and boring rutine part, I don’t think I could never ever devote so much of my time to learn and learn and learn, I am 100% sure that I would find a million better things to do with my time, but no judging, right? Couse I almost forgot about the everything-in-this-life-is-bad-i-want-to-die kind of girls, who claim thay have a depression, but in reality, the biggest disorder they have is called teenage years. You have to be honest, it is actually pretty funny time to time. And now a little bit of teenage every day life. And just a little note to you

State and public education

Another vital aspect is that public schools have a more strict evaluation system and there is a lot of homework. However when we compare state and public schools then it is seen that the results of examinations for students of private schools are higher than in state schools. On the one hand i know that well-off families prefer public education because it will give their children more opportunities. On the other hand when a lot of children learn in private schools then may be in the future we ought to for pay education in every school. But i hope that it will not happen. Another important difference concerns facilities. There is no doubt that the bigger private schools have better facilities.Such as science laboratories, computer classes, sport facilities than many state schools. In conclusion i would like to say that state and public schools are different but children learn in every school when they wish it.
