Eating habits and health

Eating disorders are a serious health problem. Three of the most common eating disorders are anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge eating or compulsive eating disorder. This can lead to many health problems, for instance an irregular heartbeat, that causes heart failure and even death. In my opinion, people are aware of the consequences of eating disorders and junk/fast food. I think, that eating disorders should be taken more seriously as this can be fatal. The eating habits of young girls should be supervised by their own parents.

shades of black and grey. Estonians wear warm clothes when it's 25 degrees Celsius in April just because it's April, or wear shorts and t-shirts when it's barely 10 degrees in July just because it's July. The old habit of being "fashionably late" is no longer acceptable. One is always on time. However Estonians become complete opposites of themselves when they get drunk. They talk, laugh, kiss and hug non-stop! Although, Estonians have many good habits which other cultures may not have. Estonian people love and cherish their culture and history. They hold massive dance and song festivals every year. Estonians also love to work and are very purposeful and diligent at what they do. They are good friends and can be very supportive when you are in need. As for me, when I am in a foreign country and somebody asks me which nationality am I? I am always proud to say that I am Estonian.

Bad Habits Of Youth

Bad Habits Of Youth The gray shades of smokes appearing in the black darkness of midnight fascinate a lot. It even fascinates me as well, as I am also part of a youth. It is not important that only youth is attracted to such things even our elders are as you must have heard this line "Negative attracts more than positive". Now why am I focusing on youth only then? Because youth is the future of our country. It becomes our duty to remove the bad habits of youth. In the start I have given you the outline of the most common bad habit of youth. It is drug addiction of course, it could be smoking and drinking and then it leads a person to the extreme drug addiction. You loose your senses when you don't get proper dose of drugs on time, and time by time your body starts needing more drugs. Your brain starts needing it for keeping your emotions in control. There are several reasons of adopting this habit. Bad habits of youth only start here

It can help you bring a positive change in the way you think. Good peer pressure is basically motivation. On the ohter hand, peer pressure often makes people feel like they need to change who they are to belong in group. It forces people to lose their own identity. It will also likely result in having many bad habits during your teenage years, which are difficult to change when you get older, like drinking and smoking. Peer pressure has both good and bad sides. accessible for them. Thanks to modern day society it does not seem like the rates are going down themselves any time soon. What could government and/or parents do to make youngsters lifestyle healthier? One approach that parents should consider is to influence their children to part-take in a heathy lifestyle. It is probably true to say that kids who are used to eating junk food and low physical activity are more likely to become overweight sooner or later. By changing living habits and stepping up as good role models parents should adapt food that is beneficial and doing sports into normal everyday life. If this is what kids are used to doing in a young age the more likely they will use the same technique when raising their own children in the future. Efficient initiatives to help protect the environment Just like our bodies, the environment functions best when it's in balance. Unfortunately, we're not quite there. Many of us believe that we lead lives that respect nature but our consumption habits give us away. Many little habits that seem to be sustainable are in fact polluting. Along with pollution, issues like depletion of resources, the rise of consumerism, and the "throw away" culture have led to serious issues. That being said, the fight's not over yet. Fortunately, more people than ever are both aware of and active in the protection of the environment. To protect the environment, waste management and recycling are crucial. When we recycle, used materials are converted into new products, reducing the need to

Estonian National Cuisine

Estonian National Cuisine re a d a c k B Bl The word ,,bread" came to Estonian from Germanic languages. Traditional black bread spread in Estonia in the second century. In a household people usually baked bread on Saturdays. Depending on the size of the family, they usually made 6-10 loaves of bread. One loaf of bread usually weighed about 2-5 kg. Beliefs and habits If a piece of bread was dropped, it had to be picked up and given a kiss so that hunger would not come to the house. A loaf of bread was never put on a table upside crust down. That would predict a family member's death. It was not allowed to lay a loaf of bread with its cut side to the door, because then the house would run out of bread. Eating the crusty end of bread would give a girl nice breasts. Warm bread was supposed to be broken not cut. Christmas bread

The hypothesis was that Pärnu Koidula Gymnasium's G1A students were aware of healthy eating habits but were unaware of the importance of breakfast and that most of the students didn't eat breakfast and girls were more aware of healthy eating habits and the importance of breakfast than boys. The first hypothesis was false because most of the students were aware of healthy eating habits and the importance of breakfast. The second hypothesis was true because 70% of the students ate breakfast regularly. The fourth hypothesis was true because while 80% of girls were aware of both healthy eating habits and breakfast importance, then only 40% of boys were aware of them.

Essee Eating disorders

Eating disorders According to the medical dictionary, eating disorders are a group of behaviors often fueled by unresolved emotional conflicts symptomized by altered food consumption. The most common types of eating disorders are anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa. Why do some people start with such harmful nutritional habits? Firstly, one reason for this could be media. Advertisers heavily market weight-reduction programs and present anorexic young models as the paradigm of sexual desirability. Also, clothes are designed and displayed for thin bodies in spite of the fact that few women could wear them successfully. Another thing to mention is genetic factors. According to studies, anorexia is eight times more common in people who have relatives with the disorder

There should be a complete ban on the advertising of dangerous products like cigarettes and alcohol

advertising. You can see those advertisements almost everywhere, from streets to television. Should they be banned? Are they useful? Most of these ads are meant for people who don't smoke or drink alcohol and since most of the adults already do one or both of them, they are mainly made for children. It's not like the tobacco or alcohol companies would agree with me on that, but this is how I see it. That makes me agree with the ban, to keep children away from bad habits. People who already smoke or drink mostly don't care about the advertisements and are not affected by them. It can clearly be seen that such adverts are only useful for the companies who gain money from new "addicts". Since new smokers increase pollution and make streets full of cigarette packs then it's very bad for people who want to live a good life on our planet. Because of all that I totally agree on a complete ban on the advertising of dangerous products.
