Do young people today learn enough at school to face the world tomorrow

earlier than others. Furthermore, present youngsters spend a great deal of their spare time sitting in Internet. They communicate, study and play games in simulated environment of the virtual world. That is the place where young people really get the most information. Internet has the only advantage comparing with schools, information from there never becomes out of date. Thus, we may affirm that youngsters don`t get enough information at ordinary school to face the world tomorrow. They get from there the base, the most information they can need. Then everything is up to themselves.

Senior high school students old enough to live on their own? Senior high school students, are they old enough to live on their own or not? Moving out on your own for high school at the age of 16 can be a thrilling experience. No more restrictions and home coming times or annoying schedules. Is this freedom suitable for everyone then, especially at that age? Despite the fact that you have the freedom of choice to do everything you want to there are many disadvantages. Like your mom is not there every day to prepare you a hot dish, doing the laundry

Thesis Statement The Sorrows on Young Werther

Thesis Statement(NEW) ,,The Sorrows of Young Werther" The main character Werther was selfish and with low self-esteem. His selfishness can be seen in two turning-points of the book, when Werther leaves Wahlheim and when he commits suicide. From his point of view these are the only solutions but he is not thinking about Lotte. Although she denies it Werther was much loved by her, he just did not try hard enough to win over her heart. Werther believes that the only way to end his sorrows is to commit suicide but he doesn't have enough positivity to keep on fighting for the love of his life. "Sometimes I don't understand how another can love her, is allowed to love her, since I love her so completely myself, so intensely, so fully, grasp nothing, know nothing, have nothing but her!" Example of how deep feelings Werther had for Lotte, but he left all his thoughts only for himself.

Skills

Skills+motivation+attitude=success. True or not? Having a special skills in some speciality and having an exellent motivation to reach a certain goal and also having the right attitude, then probably that is enough to succeed alomost in everything. Having a certain goal to reach is never easy but when having all important qualities to work it out it is certainly easier than without trying hard enough. Those three qualities are extremely important for achiving a goal. When you have only one quality of those it is really hard to achive anything but taking two of these qualities would be enough to achive your goal, if you really want it.It would always be better to have all of these qualities, because having all of those qualities would be the best thing to be almost unstoppable. Having the important skills,

How I take attending school seriously

Cause every child has to go to school there is nothing to do when I miss classes. There isn´t anything to do alone and so it is much better to attend school because then I can be with my friend and also because then we can have more fun. Especially when we find something that is only for us funny but to others it may be something embarrasing. What can we do? We are boys after all. So what am I doing that showes how I take attending school seriously. First of all I try to study enough to get through the tests. I am trying to do my homework if I know how to do it. Okey my marks doesn´t seem good enough to a bystander but to me they are almost good enough. If I´d really want to I could do it better. I may say that I am giving almost everything I have but I can always do it better. I think that attending school is really important and so I will try to not miss too many classes.

What are pros and cons of keeping fit?

In the first place there are a lot of ways to keep fit. The most important advantage is that you find an activity that you enjoy doing and that you stick with it. There is a variety of things you can do. You can run, walk, swim, bike, go hiking, do athletics, lots of different methods for keeping fit. It is often suggested to go dancing. Dancing is a very good aerobic activity, requires physical liveliness and burns a lot of calories. One point of view in favour of that you have enough energy to do these activities that you actually enjoy doing to keep your body fit. Therefore, following a healthy diet means ensuring that you eat when you are hungry, you stop eating when you are full, you include plenty of different types of fruits and vegetables, whole grains, things like brown rice, oatmeal millet. So when you find the activity you like, try to do it at least 3 to 4 times a week. As a result it will really help improve your level of fitness

Atomic energy

It must be sealed up and buried for many thousands of years. For all that time it must be kept safe from earthquakes, flooding, terrorists and everything else. This is difficult. Nuclear power is reliable, but a lot of money has to be spent on safety - if it does go wrong, a nuclear accident can be a major disaster. One of the most feared disadvantages of nuclear energy is the potential for weapons. Each year, every nuclear reactor is capable of making enough plutonium to build over thirty nuclear bombs. Nuclear plants must be secured well enough to prevent this material from falling into the wrong hands.

Housing

It is the abstract idea of "home" which is important, not the building. This will be sold when the time and price is right. The houses themselves are just investments. Another is the fact that it is extremely rare for people to commission the building of their own houses. This notion of houses principally as investment leads to a strange approach toward house prices. Individuality and conformity Flats are not unpopular just because they do not give enough privacy. It is also that they do not allow enough scope for the expression of individuality. Not everything about housing in Britain displays individuality. Most houses are built one at a time. Instead, whole streets, even neighborhoods, are built at the same time and same design. But if you walk down the same street that you saw from the air, every single house would seem differentpeople give individuality to their house.

Poison dart frogs keep their poison in their skin and this can kill anyone that touches them. The golden poison dart frog has enough venom to kill 10 adult humans. Only two micrograms of all dart frogs venom is enough to kill a large mammal. Other facts Only some predators like certain spiders and the Amazon ground snake seem immune to the poison dart frog toxins. Frogs get poison from animals which they eat. Healthy life

Healthy life A Healthy lifestyle is one which helps to keep and improve people`s health and will being. If you want to live healthy life, then eat healthy food. In my opinion begins all still eating because food is our body`s fuel. If the fuel is of good quality, remains in the body mostly "working" or healthy. Drink enough water, walking in the fresh air every day. Get enough sleep, a good night`s sleep gives your brain a brilliant boost, it improves your memory and ability to focus. At least 7-8 hours of sleep is very important for me and I always trying to go to sleep before midnight. Of course it easy for me, because I go to school and I don`t have kids, but I believe, however, that most people really could more sleep, when they plan their day better organized. Have a laugh, think positively and set goals. Listen to classical music and try something new.

Having a job while studying

Having a job while studying I think, that having a job while studying has both, positive and negative sides. One point of view in favour is preparation for the further life. On the other hand, having a job while studying shortens your spare time, time to relax and rest your brain, also you do not have time to do your homework properly, grades will suffer. Furthermore, young people should have enough time to spend with their friends and family, while students who work, use their ,,free time" to earn money, they enter to the grown-up world too soon, not to mention the fact that these working students usually do not have enough time for their personal life, relationships with opposite gender will suffer. They lose piece of their childhood. However, these students who are working while their studyies, are more prepared to

Keep yours in your kitchen, near enough to get to it quick, but not too close to the fire to reach it. Check it regurally to insure it would work properly if needed. · In the event of a larger fire, announce "FIRE!" loudly to everyone and gather all the people immediately and ask them to go out of the house via the nearest safe door or window. What qualities should, should not a teacher have

What qualities should/should not a teacher have The quality of the education of young people depends on the work of the teacher, who is largely responsible for the exchange of knowledge and skills for young people from an early age up to adulthood. What characteristics must a teacher have in order to do their job as well as possible, so that young adults become enough to start their own life? The teacher must have an advanced level of knowledge in their field. The more qualified the teacher is the better and more clearly he knows how to convey his material for students. From that depends how well young people acquire the knowledge and benefit from skills they have obtained in their later life. Teaching skills are very important. The Cataclysmic Death of Stars

lose a lifelong fight against gravity. Gravity is responsible for setting newborn stars aflame, by squeezing atoms of hydrogen in the star's core so tightly that they fuse to make helium. The fusion generates light and heat and also exerts pressure that allows the core to withstand the enormous weight of the star's outer layers. But when the core consumes all of its hydrogen, gravity compresses it. The temperature of the shrinking core rises to about a hundred million degrees, hot enough for helium nuclei to fuse and make carbon. The new surge of energy keeps the core from collapsing much further. For an isolated star no heavier than the sun, there is little more to the story. The star burns all of its helium and shrivels. It turns into a white dwarf about the size of Earth, aging and cooling indefinitely--unless it lies close enough to another star to steal its neighbor's outer layers of hydrogen. If enough material falls onto the white dwarf, the siphoned fuel ignites a

Healthy mind in a healthy body

That’s why overweight wasn’t a problem back then. Their foodtable was more various because they ate everything what was edible and available in nature. Nowadays it’s very popular that people eat junkfood and different products that are full of chemicals, sugars and fat. And if they don’t move it’s easy to get overweighted. One of the main problems why humans are unhealthy is not drinking enough water. You can buy many different flavoured drinks nowadays that are full of artificial colours and sugars. Drinking water is geting very unpopular especially among young people. Human body needs water to work proparly. One of the problems why we don’t have enough water in our bodies is alcohol. People drink cold alcoholic drinks in summer instead of water but alcohol carries out water from our bodies. To start living healthier, stay hydrated.

Truancy in school – individual responsibility

those subjects in their future life. Some children are just lazy and irresponsible. Also one serious reason is bullying. Bad relationships between the classmates make students to skip the classes. People, no matter how old they are should learn to take responsibility for their actions. However it does not refer to the small children who attend the primary school but they usually do not skip. The ones that do skip are mostly the students of the secondary and high school who are definitely old enough to take responsibility for their actions. If they think that they are already smart enough and do not need to study anymore then it is their choice and their parents should not be punished for their children making that decision. There can be many reasons why parents cannot cope with their children. Families are different and you never know what is going on between the members of the family. Can food really affect our mental well-being?

and starvation. They're becoming more agressive to things around them.Solution for that is eating regularly and choosing foods that release energy slowly will help to keep sugar levels steady. I think food affects our well-being,because is one of the important thing for our body. Food gives substances like vitamines, minerals, carbohydrates and protein to our body. When people starving, they feel weakness in their body, because their body don't get enough substances. Then immunity becomes weaker,if body don't get enough minerals then their bones becomes also weaker and are easly breakable.Food helps to raise people mood and I agree with it.It depends what people eat, if people eat food that consists few substances they still will be feeling starvation.People must eat that kind of meal that consists protein, carbohydrate and fat.If body gets that kind of substances they feel more relief.

The role of television in our society

Sometimes news stories give us the wrong information and we believe that it is true because that is being said on television. They may give you a story, but they may leave out some details to prove their point or to make the story more interesting. We are also the most ill-informed people because we tend to want to watch the entertainment shows and not tune it to the news broadcasts so we are not informed about what is going on in our world. We complain that there aren't enough intelligent in the world and yet we are being misinformed by what is supposed to be our main source of information. Television is powerful enough to make our shopping easier. Actually, it is makeing us lazier. TV shows such as the Home Shopping Network make shopping easy as dialing some numbers on a touch tone phone. People are also convinced to buy a certain product because a celebrity is presenting it.

get overweight. Being overweight can have great effects on your health. It can increase risk of developing many health conditions. Such as gallbladder disease, heart disease, hypertension (high blood pressure), dyslipidemia (high cholesterol), stroke and even cancer. So if you don't want to be at risk for any of these diseases it is advised you get regular exercise and eat accordingly. Another great way to lead a healthy lifestyle is to get enough rest. As students, we must go to sleep early. This is to prevent us from being tired the next day. Therefore, we can give full concentration when our teachers are teaching us in class. A study shows that we must have atleast 8 hours of sleep. If we often stay up at night, it means that we are not leading a healthy lifestyle all the time. In conclusion, a healthy lifestyle mainly consists of getting regular exercise, eating healthy and getting enough rest.

The Fear of Choosing The Wrong Major in University

Information Technology in University, including myself. The increase has been due to the immense labor shortage in Estonia and the high salaries students will be earning after university. For me these are not the reasons I want to study IT, but because I am genuinely interested in developing new software and applications for computers. But since a lot of teenagers want to study IT, I find myself questioning, if so many people are getting degrees, will there be enough jobs for all of us graduates? Another minor fear I have about working in the IT sector in the future is tied to gender inequality. Stereotypically, IT specialists are nerdy men with ponytails and glasses, spending time alone in their room with no social lives. Because of this stereotype, men are more favored by the employers and women have a much harder time asserting themselves in this precise field. However, in recent media

Countries in which a large portion of the population battles hunger daily are usually poor and often lack the social safety nets we enjoy, such as soup kitchens, food stamps, and job training programs. When a family that lives in a poor country cannot grow enough food or earn enough money to buy food, there is nowhere to turn for help. Facts and Figures on Hunger, Famine and Poverty In the developing world, more than 1.4 billion people currently live below the international poverty line, earning less than $1.25 per day. Among this group of poor people, many have problems obtaining adequate, nutritious food for themselves and their families. As a result, 820 million people in the developing world are undernourished. Comparison of diesel and petrol engine

The final stroke is the exhaust stroke. The exhaust valve opens when the piston hits the bottom, and the piston pushes the exhaust out. Both engines also have camshafts, which operate the opening and closing of valves. Difference The main difference between a gasoline engine and a diesel engine is the fuel used. The main difference between these fuels is the combustion ratio at which each will explode. Gasoline does not self-ignite when compressed, because it does not generate enough heat. It needs activation energy to explode, and this energy is generated by a spark plug at the top of the cylinder. Diesel on the other hand, does not require a spark plug to ignite it because it generates enough heat when it is completely compressed to ignite itself and cause explosion. . Diesel engines have a much higher compression pressure than gasoline engines. The higher compression pressure in diesels explains the difference in the methods of ignition used in gasoline and diesel engines

I would be grateful if you could arrange for the parts to be sent to me. I attach a copy of the receipt for your information. I look forward to hearing from you. Yours faithfully, Introduction This report looks at the dietary habits of twenty students in their final year at Freedonian Secondary School. The report is based on the students' responses to the questionnaire administered by the school's doctor. Meals The survey have revealed that the students do not have enough meals. Only eight of those questioned eat before school, and half of them have their midday meal at school. Worryingly, as few as four students have both breakfast and school lunch. Still more disturbing is the fact that an alarming proportion--approximately onethird--of the students have neither. Eating brown bread Interestingly enough, bread, a good source of fiber, enjoys popularity among young people. 75 per cent of the students surveyed

When we talk about Estonians Educatinoal System, then I think that it could be better, becouse I don't like it. First of all, everyone dosen't have the opertunity and the money for a full lengh enducation. Global Problems I don't notice nature changes much. But what I have noticed is that there are a lot of cars that produce CO2 what are not good for nature. What troubles me is the over population. What it means is that more people born, and less die. The biggest risk is that there are not enough jobs and food. Most people don't care about the future of our planet. People should recycle( taaskasutama) everything. And shouldn't throw trash on the floor/streets. The consensuses are that a lot of animals die and forests too (die). Health and fitness I think that being healthy is very important for your body. Too be healthy you should jog a lot, eat healthy, get enough sleep and drink enough water. A lot of women spend a lot of time on their body to

Artist report or review

Kristjan Raud Kristjan Raud (18651943) belongs to the older generation of Estonian artistic pathfinders. Together with his twin brother Paul Raud and his contemporary artist, Ants Laikmaa, he managed to break through the obstacles set before the Estonians by the prevailing peasant mentality and the extremely classconscious society of the time. Kristjan Raud was one of the first Estonian artists who is brave enough to try and make his career in his homeland, although his talent and connections in the art world, established already during his studies in Germany and St.Petersburg would have enabled him to easily merge in either place. The long years of study in St.Petersburg, Dusseldorf and Munich ended in 1903 when Kristjan Raud settled at home. A great part of K. Rauds work is based on Estonian folklore. his drawings have been the first to give visible

Railgun

When current passes through the busbars and projectile, a force is created which propels the projectile along the busbars into air. 4 The first theoretically viable railgun was proposed in 1944 by Joachim Hänsler of Germany's Ordnance Office. The gun was never built but a 1947 report concluded that while it was feasible in theory, the energy consumption for each gun would be enough to illuminate half of Chicago. While minor successes happened afterward, the most notable one was late into the first decade of 2000s, when the U.S. Navy tested a railgun that accelerates a 3.2 kg (7 pound) projectile to hypersonic velocities of approximately 2.4 kilometres per second (8,600 km/h), about Mach 7. They gave the project the motto "Velocitas Eradico", Latin for "I, speed, eradicate"-- or simply, "Speed Kills". 1.2 Theory behind it

What is needed for good society

Most of the time desirable things are not indispensable, but most of the people who will read my masterpiece could not live without these things. E.F. Schumacher once said: “I’m not at all contemptuous of comforts, but they have their place and it is not first.” and I could not agree more with that saying. If only more people would have this kind of approach to their lifestyle, it would be easier to for us all to live. Good society is not a paradise, but it is enough for us to get awesome life. And because of the fact that everybody have their own definition of good society, there cannot be single, universal standard- there are at least as many opinions as there are people (this means that there are no laws that make good society, only standards). Luckily most of the humans would agree that in good society there cannot be one leader. And to end this essay I will bring out my good friends Cicero's quote: “ The good of the people is the highest law.”

The Gifts of Imperfection: Embrace Who You Are

As a researcher, she observed human behavior so she can identify and name the subtle connections, relationships, and patterns that help us make meaning of our thoughts, behaviors, and feelings. In the process of collecting thousands of stories from diverse men and women who lived all over the country—ranging in age from eighteen to eighty-seven— She saw new patterns that she wanted to know more about. Yes, we all struggle with shame and the fear of not being enough. And, yes, many of us are afraid to let our true selves be seen and known. But in this huge mound of data there was also story after story of men and women who were living these amazing and inspiring lives. She heard stories about the power of embracing imperfection and vulnerability. She learned about the inextricable connection between joy and gratitude, and how things that we take for granted, like rest and play, are as vital to our health as nutrition and exercise

Unusual animals

Outback. Their young are called joeys. All kangaroos are herbivores and only eat plants. The biggest enemies of kangaroos are humans. III slaid The Koala is one of Australia's best known animals. It is an icon represented when promoting Australia to the tourist industry. Koalas are mainly found in the south east Australia. Koalas are often referred to as a Koala bear. However they are not a bear. The name Koala comes from an Aboriginal word. It means "no drink", as Koalas get enough fluids through the eucalyptis leaves they feed on. They do not move around much and are only active for about 2 hours of the day. IV slaid The thorny devil lizards, also know as dragon lizards, are a popular example of the Australian lizards that live in the Outback. Despite its dangerous appearance and its name it is one of the least aggressive reptiles. Thorny lizards are heliotherm, meaning they need sunlight to warm themselves up, and their body temperature and agility depends on

The Unique Girl

really drunk and argued with an annoying bitch. But when you happen to be a new person outside her clique, let's say just in the same workout group, you will probably find out about all your mistakes on the spot. She quickly figures out your mainstream style, disturbing way of pushing back your hair every one in a while and the lack of personality you have. And she most certainly makes sure to share her views with her friend in a loud enough voice so that you ought to be deaf not to hear it. Indeed, Lily loves attention. You could recognise her laugh from a mile away because she laughes oh so loudly. You simply can't help yourself but to start laughing with her, but actually laugh at her laugh. At least it's good to know that Lila doesn't mind. Or if she does she hides it well enough because from an outsiders view point it seems that Lila simply doesn't care what others think of her. If she feels threatened she uses the help

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

” (Mahatma Gandhi) Mahatma Ghandi expresses that everything starts with us, our willingness to help create the world we dream of. It is unlikely that any of us will be the next Mother Teresa but every person has hidden power to do something that benefits to the society. People´s roles are nowadays as important as the next persons, even if they think that little things are insignificant and have no effect, with enough people these small things add up and make an even bigger change that any single organization or person could ever do. To be the change we want to see in the world, people do not have to be smart, rich or well educated. They need to have a dream and commitment. The problems facing the world today are great, and it will surely take the greatness of millions if not billions of people working together towards a common goal to overcome them. Changing the world does not happen
