To implement this strategy, it is important to analyze the statistics of consumers who demand the particular product. For example, if the product involved is a shaving cream, it is important to estimate the number of men in a particular region who might use shaving cream. This can be found by deducting the number of woman and children in the area of demand

THE EFFECT OF ELECTRONIC MEDIA ON YOUNG PEOPLE

appropriate or not? The answer is pacing. If you see, that certain TV program is slow-paced and has the narrative form, then you should know that it can help to develop the long-term memory. But if the program is frenetically-paced, then it usually contains a violence that can inhibit the development of young people and also make children act impulsively and inappropriately. The violence on TV is the main issue that parents are worried about, as violence has a numbing effect on emotions. Moreover, young people can accept violence as the way of solving problems. I believe, that parents should properly control, what their children watch on TV and how long. In my opinion, there should be certain rules for children concerning the media. In addition to that, parents should talk to young people and explain why certain programs are bad or good.

The effect of modern technology on our everyday life

This lifestyle can bring to obesity, and it, in turn, can lead to serious health problems and even to death. Technology has the negative effects on sleep habits. People do online activities that keep them up too late; information stream, that passes through people`s brains, can make it difficult to turn off our brains and go to sleep. Technology has both positive and negative sides. It is in our hands, how to use it. If we use it for positive things, it will have positive effect of our lives and vice versa, using it for negatiive things give negative effect. The developments should be in a positive way and they should not have any negative impact on present or future generations, because future is not technology – it is people.

rain and its dangerous effects. The levels of acid rain vary from region to region. In Third World nations without pollution restrictions, acid rain tends to be very high. In EasternEurope, China, and the Soviet Union, acid rain levels have also risen greatly. However, because acid rain can move about so easily, the problem is definitely a global one. Global warming Global warming, also known as the greenhouse effect, immediately received international attention. Scientists, environmentalists, and governments around the world took an interest in the subject. Global warming is called the greenhouse effect because the gases that are gathering above the earth make the planet comparable to a greenhouse. By trapping heat near the surface of the earth, the greenhouse effect is warming the planet and threatening the environment. Many scientists criticized Mr

Brexit (inglise keelne)

From 28 to 27. What is the long-term consequence of the UK leaving the European Union? There is no question that the United Kingdom leaving the European Union or Brexit as we all know it, is a big hit for the EU and the UK. It’s by no means an easy process and a lot of people are against it, but today nothing can be done to stop it. Even though Brexit is seen by its leaders as a positive change, it will also have quite a negative effect on Britain and play a big role in reshaping European Union. Most British people were voting for Brexit to regain sovereignty, to ‘take back control’ and regulate their laws. At first glance, it may seem that they would be in charge of their actions which would mean that nobody on the outside can manipulate them. Although nowadays countries depend on each other a lot and the UK is no exception. Everything is more connected

Hume Cause and Effect - we can never by any of our senses, see the power or connection between a cause and effect - we can only see that when one billiard ball moves and hits the other, the other moves. Technology - for or against

It is also more comfortable to search for information without having to leaf through an encyclopedia and using a contemporary computer instead.. On the other hand, up-to-date technology may replace human's labour. We entrust technology a lot of duties, so that it can have harmful consequences. If technology progresses, there will be no need for human's work. As a result, the part of population will become unemployed. Furthermore, technology has an effect on psyche, especially children are at risk of it. They lose themselves in the individualistic activities and a bedroom becomes a place to socialise. All in all, technology has as positive and as negative effect. It will be beneficial if we appreciate humanity more than technology and do not forget about its cons.

What are the benefits and dangers of building new factories?

What are the benefits and dangers of building new factories? Many successful companies increase their production by building factories. People tend to say it has completly negative effect on them. Do factories affect us unfavourbly or can they also be positive? On the one hand, there are some advantages of building new factories. Firstly, unemployed people get new job. Secondly, country gets huge income from successful company. Next, if factories uses recyclable material, it would save earths resources and also slow down global warming. On the other hand, there are some throwbacks as well. Firstly, companies which do not have

Gays want to adobt children too, but people are more against it. Gay marriages are more for that people would accept them and get more used with them. Marriage makes them more equal with straight people and more rights. This helps them adopting children too. It shows, that two people have a great bound and they're able to adobt and raise a child. They may be good parents, but it's going to be a hard life for that child because of his gay parents. And maybe parents would even effect child sexual orientation. Surrounding ideology tells us what is beautiful, wrong, good and so on. So when childs parents are gays, maybe it can effect child too and make him gay. In my opinion gays are good average people, but I don't support their marriages and child adopting, because gay men spread AIDS. If they would be normal people in our society and everyone would accept them, then spreading AIDS can increase. However women can be

The ,,arabesque" are those in which horror or other emotion in violent suspense gives the tale its power ("The Fall of the House of Usher") In the ,,grotesque" tales the effect is achieved by a grim and ironic humour ("The Masque of Red Death") In the ,,ratiocinative" the effect comes from the use of rational analysis in reconstructing a series of events ("Murders in the Rue Morgue", "The Gold Bug") · The economy (tobacco had exhausted the soil) and also the spiritual life in Virginia was deteriorating (the democratic touch was disappearing, Virginia became a forgotten land). Tourism a threat to the environment? Tourism defently has affects to our environment. Size of effect depends on the population of the area visits, but it is not only thing that affects the nature. Tourism affects our environment positively and negatively. For example of positive effect would be that, people who organize hikes take care of pathways and camping places. If they had not built the camp sites for tourists there would be overgrown forest. So may say that thanks to the good and decents businesses are our surroundings clean and pleasant to everyone who like to spend some time and relax

system and to manage the public loan and expenditures. Types of Fiscal Policy The three possible types of fiscal policy: neutral, expansionary and contractionary. The definitions of these types are as follows: - A neutral stance of fiscal policy implies a balanced economy. This results in a large tax revenue. Government spending is fully funded by tax revenue and overall the budget outcome has a neutral effect on the level of economic activity. - An expansionary stance of fiscal policy involves government spending exceeding tax revenue. - A contractionary fiscal policy occurs when government spending is lower than tax revenue. There are two types of fiscal policy: discretionary and non-discretionary (automatic). The discretionary policy is the government (federal) changing spending (G), changing taxes (on households) T, or some combination of the two

Also on the horizon are smart objects. These objects are geared more to small children then those that are in high school or college. Objects with animations such as building blocks that can talk and light up to indicate to a child how to stack them correctly. But that can also have an opposite effect, like the children will become addicted to the computers and such. That could be also fatal to the brain of the child. Then there is the good things for children who have problems with health. Like the development in the area of prosthetics. These new prosthetics are used to make education equal for all children. Global warming

Global warming The problem of desertification increases every year. More and more fertile areas become useless. Seas, lakes and other bodies of water dry out. Desertification does not only have an effect on the dry areas but also influences the areas that aren't haunted by the lack of water and land. Desertification has an effect on all of us. It slows down the development of agriculture or puts a total stop to it. The poor living conditions of developing countries drive people to search food somewhere else. In addition to natural ways, humankind helps along to the process of desertification that eventually leads to global warming. The main reasons are the fast growth of the population and it's consequences too intensive animal raising and the arable lands that are made too fast for the nature to adjust.

Decriminalizing Cannabis in Estonia

Cannabis, as a soft drug, is criminalized in Estonia and that fact leads people to go after stronger drugs because by the law they are on the same scale. The popularity of “China white” is growing in Estonia, as it is so easily accessible, but so does the mortality rate because it is very easy to overdose on fentanyl. Estonia should re- form its drug policy because stricter laws and punishments do not change society for the better and current drug policy is not showing any positive effect either. The reason why Estonia should consider decriminalizing cannabis is that the history of decriminalizing cannabis has shown us that the use of narcotics has gone down. Great examples for that are the Netherlands and Portugal. Portugal decriminalized all narcotics in 2001 and decided to treat possession and use of small quantities of drugs as a public health issue, not a criminal one (Ingraham, The Washington Post 2015). It has had a major effect on

The Greenhouse Effects

The Greenhouse Effect: Scientists are sure about the greenhouse effect. They know that greenhouse gases make the Earth warmer by trapping energy in the atmosphere. Climate Change: Climate is the long-term average of a region's weather events lumped together. For example, it's possible that a winter day in Buffalo, New York, could be sunny and mild, but the average weather the climate tells us that Buffalo's winters will mainly be cold and include snow and rain. Soil microflora

There are several other variables that impact the soil microflora. For instance, a study by Canbolat et al. (2007) showed that root length, root and shoot weight of plants were decreased by soil compaction, which suggests that microfloral activity in compact soil is lower. Cultural practices The mankind has and will have a major influence on changing the microflora of soils. There are countless activites that have and minor effect, but change the soil composition in the long term as a whole. Although, some activites like agriculture, waste management and forestry carried out to satisfy the needs of the people have major impact on in areas of action. Sidorenko and Buzoleva (2007) stated that soil microbiocenosis is one of the most complicated biological communities. Healthy lifestyle

better results. Needless to say, that kind of working out damages your body more than it helps. And can also cause you to have an cardiac arrest or a serious longterm heart problems. But despite the fact that there can be serious consequences for false ways, there is still an upside. If you live an healty life, you have more strenght to get trought the day. You will feel relaxed and you won't be ill as often. Even if you get the flu, you will recover faster and it wont have so much effect on your health in general. So in conclusion, if you lead a healthy life and do it properly, it will have an awesome effect on your way of living. Not only will it make you healthier, it will make you happy. If you don't rush it, it will get to the point where it pays off even faster. I suggest that to live life by its fullest, eat reasonably and work-out reasonably.

Harmful effects on the eye caused by smart devices

Smart devices are nowadays widely used by most of the peole. Smartphones and computers are used in schools, at work and at free time for social interaction and communication. Using these devices can affect the condition of an eye. Eye is an organ in both humans and other animals, which allows the living creature to see. Smart devices radiate different light. One of the reasons why smart devices have harmful effect on the eyes is the blue light that they radiate. Blue light has damaging effect on the eye because it refracts in front of the retina. This forces the eye to focus constantly and as a result, the eye gets tired quickly. Blue light can cause different eye diseases. One of the diseases is „Dry eye syndrome“. Dry eye syndrome is a collection of symptoms which are caused by a lack of or low quality of the tear fluid. This can not be completely cured but it can be prevented by resting the eyes after every half an hour when using smart devices.

Savanna

have undergone change as a result of grazing by sheep, goats and cattle, ranging from changes in pasture composition to woody weed encroachment. The removal of grass by grazing affects the woody plant component of woodland systems in two major ways. Grasses compete with woody plants for water in the topsoil and removal by grazing reduces this competitive effect, potentially boosting tree growth. In addition to this effect the removal of fuel reduces both the intensity and the frequency of fires which may control woody plant species. Grazing animals can have a more direct effect on woody plants by the browsing of palatable woody species. There is evidence that unpalatable woody plants have increased under grazing in savannas. Grazing also promotes the spread of weeds in savannas by the removal or reduction

“You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

d “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” (Mahatma Gandhi) Mahatma Ghandi expresses that everything starts with us, our willingness to help create the world we dream of. It is unlikely that any of us will be the next Mother Teresa but every person has hidden power to do something that benefits to the society. People´s roles are nowadays as important as the next persons, even if they think that little things are insignificant and have no effect, with enough people these small things add up and make an even bigger change that any single organization or person could ever do. To be the change we want to see in the world, people do not have to be smart, rich or well educated. They need to have a dream and commitment. The problems facing the world today are great, and it will surely take the greatness of millions if not billions of people working together towards a common goal to overcome them. Changing the world does not happen

Global Warming

Global Warming One of the biggest issues our planet and its inhabitants are facing nowadays is global warming. Global warming, also often referred to as the greenhouse effect, has not always been a problem. However, over the last centuries, since the Industrial Revolution things have changed. Polar regions are melting, species are dying, climate zones are shifting, migration patterns for animals such as polar bears and birds are being disrupted our world as we know it is changing. Some scientists believe that the climate will reach a tipping point, a point at which even a tiny additional increase would throw the system into violent change.

EU internal Market law. Mid term evaluation assignment

legislation. Can this measure be attributed to a public authority? Yes. The law was adopted by the Parliament and has the binding power. Is the measure restrictive in the sense of Dassonville formula? Yes. In Dassonville judgment, the Court of Justice took the view that „all trading rules enacted by Member States which are capable of hindering, directly or indirectly, actually, or potentially, intra- Community trade is to be considered as measures having an effect equivalent to quantitative restrictions” (Cases 8/74 of 11 July 1974 and points 63 to 67 of Case C-320/03 of 15 November 2005). Cassis de Dijon case (Case 120/78 of 20 February 1979) laid down the principle that any product legally manufactured and marketed in a Member State in accordance with its fair and traditional rules, and with the manufacturing processes of that country, must be allowed onto the market of any other Member State.

As seen on the graph (Figure 5) the effect of the Reynolds number is clear. For an agitation rate of 618 rpm and with the change of Reynolds number, Re, from 1993 to 3855 the overall heat transfer coefficient, U, changes from 636 W·m-2·K-1 to 730 W·m-2·K-1. For 980 rpm and Reynolds numbers from 1993 to 3855 the U changes from 687 W·m-2·K-1 to 787 W·m-2·K-1. For an agitation rate of 1342 rpm 16
